In an effort to get more people talking about global warming again, Climate Solutions is launching a campaign to get everyone to say "puppies" when referring to climate change; the organization will rebrand itself Puppy Solutions.
"We know that climate change is an objective existential threat and everything, but the polling on "climate" just sucks," said KC Golden, Policy Director. "We tested a lot of alternatives. Health was good, but ‘puppies’ are off the charts across all demographics -- especially with swing voters in battleground districts. Plus, we can't wait to see Senator Inhofe's new book 'The Cutest Hoax!'"
The organization’s new tagline will be: practical solutions for cute baby animals.

When I tell my climate-denying neighbor that now I'm working on "Puppies--practical solutions for cute baby animals", he will at first be befuddled and then inquire further. It broke the ice with a positive tone, and most importantly, it related climate change to something he might be able to relate to. Have you tried it?
The SPCA might complain that you're mocking their mission, but they should instead welcome the extra publicity.
We need lots of out-of-the-box thinking and solutions to solve the climate problem.
