Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) Program: Public Meeting Notice and Agenda
The Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) has initiated permanent rulemaking for the Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) program. As part of the permanent rulemaking process, ODOE will be evaluating the current BETC temporary rules and public comments received on September 14th.

The Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) has initiated permanent rulemaking for the Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) program. As part of the permanent rulemaking process, ODOE will be evaluating the current BETC temporary rules and public comments received on September 14th. Specifically for the September 2nd meeting, ODOE will be discussing the recent changes made to the BETC program through temporary rulemaking. These changes include the renewable tier process, manufacturing phasing, electric vehicle manufacturing, separate and distinct criteria, amendments to preliminary certifications, extensions of preliminary certifications and renewable energy storage devices.

Permanent BETC Rulemaking Hearing will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 9:30AM at the Oregon Department of Energy, 625 Marion St. NE, Salem, OR 97301-3737. The department will receive testimony on the rules and no discussion will occur.
