On 10-10-10, hundreds of people in Portland will ride in a "Roll Against Coal" -- a bike rally calling on our leaders to shut down the Boardman coal plant. The governor has been invited to ride to demonstrate he is still a hero for Oregon's people and environment.
Oregon has a dirty secret. Tucked away along the Columbia River near Boardman, Portland General Electric's coal-burning power plant is poisoning your air and water and damaging the climate.
