Climate Change
Throughout the Earth’s geological history the atmosphere has gone
through cycles of warming and cooling driven by factors including solar
radiation and volcanic eruptions. The planet is rapidly warming today,
but this time the cause is human activities.
Because
humans are causing global warming, we can cool it down and stabilize the
climate. The most important steps are to use energy more efficiently,
replace fossil fuels with clean energy sources such as sun and wind, and
protect forests. By taking these steps we will not only stem global
warming – We will also provide secure energy supplies and generate new
jobs and prosperity in clean technologies.

Let’s not disclaim our fossil fuel addiction
Saying we can't tie any individual heat wave to long-term climate trends is as reckless as saying we can't tie an individual case of lung cancer to a two pack-a-day smoking habit.
Still don’t believe in climate change? Then you’re either deep in denial or delirious from the heat
"According to scientists, climate change means not only that we will see higher temperatures but that there will be more extreme weather events like the one we just experienced. Welcome to the rest of our lives."
Supreme court sets the table for the fossil fuel feast
The overturning of Montana’s ban on corporate contributions to political races will greatly impede the ability to pass strong federal climate and clean energy policy in the near future.
