HCE 2010 drew 560 participants to Eastern Washington’s Tri-Cities Three Rivers Convention Center, with 39 sponsor organizations and 36 vendors who exhibited. HCE 10 succeeded in pulling in a geographically and politically diverse crowd for a three-day immersion into the promise and challenges of making clean energy work for rural business and economic development. Climate Solutions’ Harvesting Clean Energy (HCE) program reaches across 
the
urban/rural divide in the Pacific Northwest. We cultivate common ground
with a simple shared goal: to foster rural economic development
through clean energy production. We are working with our rural partners
to increase our energy independence, bolster our family farms and rural
economies, and provide clean-energy solutions to important
environmental challenges.
Keeping the agriculture community informed is vital to our work. Our HCE website features in-depth information and resources on the hottest topics such 
as wind integration and carbon sequestration. Every Friday over 70 radio stations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and northern California air our Harvesting Clean Energy Report through the region’s most important agriculture radio network, NW Ag Information Network.
