Defend Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program

We have an emergency at hand and we need your help! Just weeks after the Legislature passed Oregon’s only significant bill addressing global warming since 2009, they’re considering rolling it back.

Urge your legislators to say “No Way!” to Clean Fuels rollbacks.

We celebrated a major victory when the Legislature re-authorized Clean Fuels in March: Big Oil spent $2.1 million on lobbying to stop or delay the program, but Oregonians stood up to them and in support of cleaner options at the gas pump.

We need your help to do it again now.

Don’t let the legislature play political football with this vital program. Not when Oregon is already failing to reach its science-based global warming pollution reduction goals. Not when the state Water Resources Department just announced that two-thirds of Oregon counties are in drought emergencies. Not when clean fuels businesses are already lining up to expand their operations in Oregon thanks to the market certainty the program will provide them.

Tell your legislator that repealing or weakening Clean Fuels—a program that will deliver health and economic benefits for every Oregonian—is simply unacceptable.

Raise your voice now.
