However, time is tight—we’re in the second half of a short legislative session, and our senators need an extra push from you to get the job done.

Transportation is our single biggest source of the pollution that cause global warming. That’s why it’s so important for us to reduce those emissions. A Clean Fuel Standard will do that by reducing the carbon intensity of the fuels we use. At the same time, we will protect our health by reducing air pollution. And we’ll support our state’s clean energy economy by sourcing clean fuels created right here in Washington.

Big oil is fighting this with all they’ve got, because they want to block our access to cleaner choices like electric vehicles and sustainable biofuels. But we can say no to them and yes to a cleaner future—in fact, the rest of the West Coast has already done so, from California to British Columbia, with their own successful Clean Fuel Standards.
