It's time to double down

Today, as I reflect on the last couple of years, I find myself filled with hope and inspiration. There’s no doubt that 2020 and 2021 have been extremely challenging years, but when we look at the climate progress we’ve made in the Pacific Northwest, there’s so much to be hopeful for.

Knowing there are people like you in the climate movement makes me hopeful too! We all envision a cleaner, healthier future and your support of Climate Solutions makes all of our work possible. Thank you so much for your past donations and for helping to secure these transformational wins for our climate:

In the last two years, Washington and Oregon have both passed 100% Clean Electricity legislation that includes strong labor standards and investments in communities.

In Washington, we passed the Healthy Environment for All (HEAL) Act, which defines environmental justice and requires the state to address long-term inequities and harm.

We now have a clean fuels coast, with powerful Clean Fuel standards in place that drive down transportation pollution—our region’s largest source of emissions.

We have a cutting-edge cap and invest program in Washington State.

And within the last few weeks, we passed Clean Truck Rules in both Washington and Oregon that will help us transition to zero emission trucks and reduce pollution from diesel truck engines

But even though we have a lot to celebrate, we know the fight is not over. It’s time to double down and build on the momentum of these massive policy wins.

The science is clear—to address the climate crisis, we still must cut pollution by a lot. We’re well over 400 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere, and we must get down to 350 parts per million.

Today, on the 350th day of the year, will you consider joining our 350 Club by increasing your 2021 contribution to $350 or more?

Climate Solutions’ 350 Club members are an integral part of our organization and your help is needed to propel the transition to our clean energy future.

By increasing your 2021 donation total to $350 or more, you will help accelerate solutions to the climate crisis. Over 400 people are already part of our 350 Club. Will you join?

With your support, we know that a brighter, cleaner future is possible. Thank you for all that you do, and happy 350th day of the year.
