Let’s say NO to big oil in Washington.  
 
Next week, elected officials, tribal leaders, and passionate community members will come together in Olympia and Spokane for the chance to tell the Washington State government what we think about dangerous and dirty fossil fuel trains rolling through our cities and towns, and increased threats of a catastrophic oil spill in our waters.

The latest oil train derailment in Saskatchewan, Canada reminds us that it only takes one tank car to create a disaster. 
 
Washington State is facing an onslaught of oil- and coal-by-rail proposals with up to 4,000 additional tankers and 60 additional trains passing through our state every day, filled with dirty and explosive oil and coal.  We have a chance to speak up and tell Governor Inslee that oil and coal transport, whether it is by rail or by vessel, puts our families, our economy, and our futures, at risk. 
 
Now is the time to act. Join our movement as we mobilize from around the state to speak up for our priorities. Come to one of these hearings; help us protect Washington and our climate.  Don’t forget to wear red for solidarity!
